The Proton XT GTX is a supportive and highly cushioned shoe ideal for longer distance running, winter training, or speed walking.
It's the first women's shoe from Scarpa using the revolutionary Gore-Tex Invisible Fit technology, which means the membrane is directly laminated to the upper, increasing comfort, reducing seams and increasing drying speed. The synthetic upper is mapped with strategic applications of heat welded PU, giving support without adding weight.
The Genetic Max sole is made from Vibram Megagrip and combined with the deep lug pattern gives great traction on mixed terrain. The dual density EVA midsole has two low density Eva cushioning pads for impact absorption, and an ESS insert in the middle offers improved anti-torsion control.
